Brad is working hard on the house these days. He - and his brother Calvin - have made a lot of progress in the last week. (Denny and Dave have helped too and we really appreciate it!)

Depending on the weather this week, we will pour concrete on.. Tuesday? (yeah, the day they are calling for storms) So we'll see. Maybe by Friday we'll have walls.

Also, we have vegetables actually GROWING in the veggie garden and we even consumed some of the lettuce this week! Amazing! I've never grown something I could eat. I'm excited about it. In other news, we had a successful family wedding shower for Joseph and Amanda this weekend - thanks to Mary! - and won first place overall on our Wagner float we entered in the church picnic parade today. Plus we got to hang with friends and family - specifically Bradley and Beth and Joseph and Amanda - this weekend too. Good stuff.
