This is the view from the back of the house. Our living room is the uncovered and unwalled part in the middle. Brad is standing in the front of the upstairs. In this picture, 2 of the 3 upstairs bedrooms (those rooms top right) are gaining a roof!
Rafters being lowered into place on the west side of the house. I think the house may be considered a 1and 1/2 story, because there is a lot of upstairs that can only be storage. This side is one of those areas. (But I'll take all the storage I can get!)
The part of the house that comes out front here is the garage. See my lilac bushes that have been saved? The guys are always threatening to do away with them because they are so close to the house. Hopefully we'll find a suitable home for them eventually. For now, they stay where they are.
